We recently invited Rose Kimberley, co-founder of South West Voice Hub in Devon to teach us all about warming up and warming down our voices.

Taking care of our voices is paramount to continued development as choir members and Soul of the City Gospel Choir want to make sure they keep their voices healthy to produce the best sound and promote the best recovery after singing.

Rose walked us through a number of different warming up and cooling down exercises, plus a chances to put our blending to the test with a blues round, which everyone enjoyed!

South West Voice Hub specialise in connecting professional vocalist and beginners who want to know more about the voice. They create networking events and offer masterclasses to all voice hub members. Want to learn more about your voice, how it works and how to look after it? Go to www.southwestvoicehub.com
